Cubic Meter is referred to as C, B, M. The following methods can be used to calculate the CBM of one piece of material. To calculate CBM, you multiply the length, width, and height of the shipment in meters.

CBM total = 1 carton CBM x Carton Quantity
The possible container types are three :
(1) 20" regular container, holding 27–29 CBM of cargo.
(2) Normal 40" containers, each holding 54–56 CBM of cargo.
(3) 40" containers with a capacity of 64–67 CBM.
There are typically two ways to hire containers :
FCL, Full Container Load, first
LCL, or Light Container Load, two
